Dr. Mahmoud Alserafy is a highly accomplished Quality and Accreditation Consultant with over 15 years of experience in healthcare quality management, patient safety, and accreditation. He currently serves as a consultant for the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank Group and is a TEMOS Approved Consultant. Dr. Alserafy is also a dedicated Healthcare Trainer, imparting expertise in quality and accreditation to future leaders in the field.
Dr. Alserafy holds an MBA from the Arab Academy for Management, Banking, and Financial Sciences (AAMBFS) and has pursued specialized training in healthcare quality and management. His qualifications include diplomas in Healthcare Quality and Accreditation from Badr University, Hospital Management and Total Healthcare Quality Management from The American University in Cairo (AUC), and Clinical Implantology in Dentistry from Seville University, Spain. He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Professional Trainer (AUC), Internationally Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (CLSSBB), and Certified ISO 9001/2008 Lead Auditor (IRCA).
In her consulting role, Dr. Konsowa works with numerous healthcare institutions—including Alfacure Oncology Group, Seashell Hospital, Air Force General Hospital, Eye World Hospital, Dawi Clinics Group, and others—guiding them through accreditation processes such as JCI, GAHAR, Canadian, TEMOS, NHRA, and CBAHI. She also provides expertise in Healthcare Design and Infrastructure Planning and leads initiatives in patient safety and quality improvement.
In his consulting roles, Dr. Alserafy guides numerous healthcare institutions—including Alfacure Oncology Group, Seashell Hospital, Air Force General Hospital, and others—through accreditation processes such as JCI, GAHAR, Canadian, TEMOS, and CBAHI. He also provides expertise in Healthcare Design and Infrastructure Planning.
As an educator, Dr. Alserafy lectures at Badr University in Cairo and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) in Dubai, where he has facilitated advanced training programs and developed key courses in performance improvement methodologies, CPHQ preparation, and accreditation readiness. His track record includes significant achievements in quality training programs and electronic medical records implementation across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
